How Many Real Estate Brokerages Are There in Northeast Florida?

How Many Real Estate Brokerages Are in Northeast Florida? 1,269 Real Estate Offices with Recent Sales #63 CrossView Realty by Sold Volume Top 5% Market Position Based on MLS Data Real numbers. Real closings. Real transparency.

If you’re thinking about where to hang your real estate license, how many brokerages are you actually choosing from in Northeast Florida?

As of the time this blog is published, there are 1,269 real estate offices in Northeast Florida that have sold and closed at least one home in the last 12 months.

That’s just under 1,300 different offices you could potentially consider.

And for most people, that number is a little eye-opening.

What That Number Really Represents

Now, let’s add some important context, because that 1,269 number doesn’t mean there are 1,269 brokerages actively hiring agents.

Some of those offices are:

  • One-agent shops where the agent became their own broker and doesn’t hire anyone else

  • Property management–only companies

  • Brokerages that are primarily commercial but occasionally close residential deals

That said, every office on this list has one thing in common: they closed at least one residential sale in the MLS within the last 12 months.

This isn’t a directory.
It’s not self-reported.
And it’s not based on who wanted to be included.

It’s pulled straight from real closings.

So Where Does CrossView Realty Rank?

Out of those 1,269 offices, CrossView Realty ranked #63 based on closed, sold volume.

And honestly, that’s a number I’m proud of.

We’re not so large that agents disappear into the background or become just another number. But we’re also close enough to the top that it’s very clear we’re actively contributing to the real estate activity happening across Northeast Florida.

There are 62 offices that sold more than we did in the last 12 months.

And more than 1,200 that sold less.

That puts us in a strong, balanced position—experienced, productive, and still personal.

A Quick Reality Check on Real Estate Awards

You see a lot of awards in this industry.

“Top Brokerage.”
“Best in the City.”
“Featured Partner.”
“Official Realtor of…”

Here’s the part people don’t always realize.

Most awards in real estate are:

  • Paid placements

  • Based on who submitted information

  • Limited to a small group of participants

  • Or dependent on filling out a form

Even awards CrossView Realty has received typically reflect how we ranked among the group that participated, not the entire market.

That doesn’t mean awards are meaningless.
It just means they don’t always tell the full story.

This ranking does.

It’s based entirely on MLS closings—actual transactions, real volume, and verified data. No opt-ins. No marketing spend. Just what actually happened.

Why This Matters When You’re Choosing a Brokerage

If you’re deciding where to hang your license, production isn’t the only thing that matters. Culture, support, and training are just as important.

But numbers like this give you a grounded starting point.

They help cut through the noise.
They add perspective.
And they give you a clearer picture of how brokerages actually perform in the market.

If you’re ever curious where another brokerage ranks, we’re happy to share that information. We believe transparency matters, especially when you’re making big career decisions.

Final Thoughts

Northeast Florida has 1,269 offices actively closing homes.
